MCC Volleyball Media Day

The McCook Community College Volleyball team is gearing up for the 2026 season and hopeing to improve from a 2025 season where they finished 12-16 which was just the second losing season under Head Coach Hayley Kobza and the third time the Volleyball team did not finish with 20 or more wins.

Hometown Family Radio able to take with Bobbi Starkebaum, Leia Young, and Zoe Mulholland who all enter there Sophmore season, and also able to catch up with Head Coach Hayley Kobza who enters her 11th year with MCC Volleyball.  

MCC opens the season on August 20th, 21st, and 22nd at North Platte for the three day North Platte CC Tournament. MCC will take on Seward County on Thursday at 6pm, then on Friday take on Laramie County at 11am and Cloud County at 4pm, then take on Colorado Northwetsern on Saturday at 10:00am.
