Red Flag Warning Issued

Critical fire weather conditions are possible across northwestern portions of the area due to the combination of southerly winds gusting 35-40mph and low humidity. A Red Flag Warning is in effect 12-8pm. Near-Critical to Critical fire weather conditions are possible on Thursday.
A few strong to marginally severe storms capable of large hail and damaging wind gusts are possible west of Highway 183 during the evening hours. Scattered to widespread thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon-evening hours for areas along and east of Highway 281 on Thursday. These storms could be severe capable of producing large hail and damaging wind gusts.
