Commissioners approve increase to park fees

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission approved fee increases for park lodging, rental facilities, camping and other miscellaneous fees at its Oct. 16 meeting in Kearney.

The fees will take effect Jan. 1, 2027.

Amended fees are:

Camping Fees

Peak Season (Mid-April through Mid-October), Weekend (Thursday through Saturday) – Basic, $20; Electric, $30; Electric Plus, $35; Full Service, $45

Peak Season (Mid-April through Mid-October), Weekday (Sunday through Wednesday) – Full Service, $40

Non-peak Season (Mid-October through Mid-April), Weekday and Weekday – Full Service, $35

Canvas wall tent sites – $40

Adirondak sites – $25

Discounted camping rates for incentives and promotional and marketing measures at select times – up to 50% off

Camper cabins – $60
